Sunday night we were able to watch the European Soccer games with Henrik's family. We had a great time although Germany lost to Spain. 1-0. Edith made some European pizza for us and it was wonderful. Now we know what the kids were always talking about the pizza being so much better here. It really is. We will have to try to make some when we get home.
On Monday we had a wonderful time. Henrik took us to his high school. It was funny because it was just the way I had always imagined. I got a little sick on the way back. (that's an understatement) I will have to explain that when we get back. I will have to say I made my mark in Germany!!!! HeHe
After we got back I laid down for a little and soon John came in and told me Hauke Hauschildt was here. I couldn't believe it!! He had driven over from Wiesmoor. It was about a 4 hour drive. It was so wonderful to see him. He hasn't changed at all. John, Hauke, Henrik and Bernhardt all walked down to the beach for a while ( I was still recooperating). It is just beautiful here. I will take more pictures later. Monday night we had a barbeque and what a surpise when Henrik stood up and said "HAUKE". Our other Hauke Sokolek had driven up from Hamburg to see us. It was just a great time. We all sat and just talked and talked until late at night. Henrik's parents fixed us a wonderful barbeque and everything was just perfect.
